Chapter 6

Zachary was upset, thinking, ‘I thought I dealt with the loser.’ He never wanted David anywhere near the school; he wanted him to be far away. But David was back, and he had to deal with it. Zach looked at his mom, who was reading a book carefree as if she hadn’t just fought with her husband of 25 years. Zach didn’t mind; he was actually happy that his mom seemed okay. He got into bed and slept.

The next day, Zachary woke up early, getting ready for school. He had a lot of things to deal with: first, the issue with Emma and Emily, then explaining to the school administration why he was absent, and lastly, David Dreame. He got into his luxurious SUV car and drove to school.
