Eli’s eyes widened, “Hey!” He grabbed her shoulders, “Are you... You’re not okay!” He stated more to himself, and instantly swept her off her feet and began to move.

“Don’t worry,” He whispered, “I’m taking you to a hospital,”

“I’m fine,” She panted.

“Yes, you’re,” He said sarcastically.

She tried to wriggle from his hold, but he stopped and looked down at her. For the first time, there was so much fear in his eyes that it made her freeze again, “You’re not fine!” He snapped, “You just puked out blood. No person vomits blood and says they’re fine. You need medical care, and you need it right now!”

She sighed, moved by his words and actions. But her condition was not going to be solved by humans, or even herself. It was fate that was fighting against her will to find out the truth.
