Rhiannon recalled how the Black wolf had saved the young wolf from being torn, how he had protected it from the bear’s attack without thinking of anything else.

Rage burned through her veins as she began moving toward the injured wolf. The bear roared again, furious and swinging as the rest of the wolves continued to close in.
“Tighten the circle!” Ezekiel snarled. His commands kept coming out brutal and cold and the trembling young wolves had no choice but to obey their Alpha.
