Chapter 32. Ready to Eat

Her heart lurched. What did he mean?

“I’m dying to know who you really are,” he added.

Rhiannon held her breath, his eyes becoming more intense.

“I’m dying to know who exactly hurt you this much. I’m dying to unlock everything you keep me outside of, I’m dying to see the day when that sadness and anger in your eyes is completely gone, and only that radiant warmth and dedication of pure love remains,”

Moments passed, and she couldn’t take her eyes off him. After what he had just said, Rhiannon was seeing him in a new light.

She knew he cared about her and adored her, but now it was beyond care and adoration. It was limitless affection, it wasn’t fractured love.

More tears streamed down her eyes, “I...I...,”

“I’m not pushing you to tell me,” He said softly, “Talking about things like this must be difficult, I know that much,”

She sniffed, hugging him once again, “I’m sorry I worry you,”
