Jaewon had his blood drawn, and then Namsoo did too. Ji-a’s procedure was different. Jaewon wanted to go into the room, but Namsoo and I waited outside.

Nevertheless, they explained to us how the test would be conducted.

With the help of a long, thin needle that would be inserted directly into Ji-a’s abdomen, a sample of the amniotic fluid would be drawn, and later the baby’s DNA would be collected and compared with both men who could be the father.

It wasn’t complicated, but the thought of such an invasive test being done now troubled me.

I’m sure I wouldn’t feel good with a needle piercing me, passing so close to my baby.

And I’m also sure Jaewon wouldn’t mind waiting until the baby is born to do the test.

But now it’s Ji-a who wants the test done as soon as possible, and that’s quite confusing.
