We turned around, trying not to focus on the fact that I was without a binder, and I hugged him. I pulled Jaewon slowly, making him wet too, and rested on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.

“Jae?” I called softly.

“Uh?” he stroked my hair, pushing it back.

Still without looking at him, I smiled as I asked:

“Do you promise we’ll stay together forever?”

I looked at him and Jaewon smiled, but he didn’t even think again.

“I promise.”

I hugged him tighter and stood on tiptoe to kiss him.

The rest of the afternoon was as peaceful as the whole place seemed to be.
