The rest of the journey was quiet. We arrived at the hotel, and it was already past midnight. I said goodbye to everyone and carried the weight on my shoulders as I walked. I didn’t even unpack my bags. I just took off my clothes and stood under the shower for endless minutes, shedding all the tears I could and allowing myself to feel hatred, guilt, and regret.

When I finally lay down, it was past three in the morning. I checked my phone; there were messages from everyone except Harin. There were numerous missed calls from my mom, SiHo, and even Taesu, who, by the way, sent me a message filled with easily understandable curses. I was a jerk at that point.
