“Do you think he brought Harin here?” Taesu asked, looking at me. “As bad as he is, he could afford to live in a better place. And Harin is a celebrity, he would easily be recognized, especially with the media coverage.”

“I know, Taesu, but I feel like he’s here.”

“If we go in here, we don’t know what we might find. Call the police.”

“They won’t come. Not without a lead.”

I sighed, but frowned when I looked ahead, seeing a tall man coming out of a candy store.

“Is that him?” I asked Taesu.

My brother-in-law gasped, nodding. Eunjun wore a thick hooded coat and a mask, but he looked around, making it clear how suspicious he was.

“Hey, you bastard!” Taesu shouted, immediately going towards him.

Eunjun widened his eyes and threw the box he had in his hands. He ran, making my brother-in-law chase him without a second thought.

I followed a little behind, fumbling to grab my phone and call the police again.
