Chapter 77. So Beautiful

Drake’s POV

I kept stealing glances at her as we walked and my heart would thud each time her eyes caught me. She’s so fucking beautiful and I was still on cloud nine, knowing that she was giving me this second chance. She didn’t run for the hills as I had originally thought she would. That has to mean something right?!

We reached the restaurant and I was nervous as hell. I have never been on a date and the thought of screwing this up was freaking me out. What did we talk about? Was there a certain etiquette to this? Did I bring her home afterwards and kiss her goodnight on the porch? I had so many questions and no way of finding out the answers.

I couldn’t ask Lynn and I didn’t have any friends that did staff like this. Shit! I should have asked Dakota before I left.

“Table for two sir?” The concierge asked the moment we stepped up on the podium.

“Yes,” I replied looking to see that the restaurant was full but not overly packed. Good!
