Chapter 78. Dance with Me

Drake’s POV

My face flushed and it felt like it got twenty degrees hotter in here. This was starting out real good.

“Fuck, I’m screwing this up already.”

She grabbed my hand again and shook her head.

“You’re not,” She whispered. “Just ask me what you really want to know.”

“Why did you decide to give me a second chance?”

Her brows rose as she half grinned and then shook her head. “That’s actually a really good question. One I’m still trying to figure out myself. I guess…” She paused and looked into my eyes again. “I guess that connection between us is much stronger than anything I have ever felt before. I knew that If I let you walk away, I would regret it for the rest of my life. I’m done with regrets and I’m starting to take what I want.”

Fuck I wasn’t expecting that answer but I loved it.

“Well I’m glad you stayed,” I whispered bringing her hand up to kiss it.
