Aria's POV

I buried my cheeks in my hands with a groan. “Knox!” I groaned.

Knox laughed heartily, pulling me with him out of the grand hall.

I glanced back one more time, and my eyes connected with Astrid’s eyes. They were burning with so much anger and hatred that I almost shuddered. However, standing beside her with a sneer on his face was Cornelius. Great, these two people were working together.

My heart clenched in unease as we walked out of the grand hall.

I glanced at Knox. He looked so happy as we made our way to my room. I wasn't going to tell him.
