Aria's POV
Finally, his laughter faded, and his expression turned serious, his eyes shining with intensity.
“But apart from that, I really thank you for yesterday.” He started.
My confusion deepened even further as I wondered what he was talking about.
He released a sigh, and looked away from me. “My pack members are scared—terrified of me. They respect me, and I think they love me, but they're also terrified of me. They try to avoid me whenever they can.” He admitted, and a sad expression crossed his face.
My heart clenched at the pain in his voice, and in his eyes.
He continued. “And I understand, I get it. It's not their fault. I've done terrible things, even to them when I lose control.”
