Aria’s POV

It was then I subconsciously remembered that we were still in the hallway, in front of my door. Anyone who came this way would see us.

“Knox,” I whispered breathlessly, finding it hard to speak with his lips on my neck.

“Knox,” I called again with a moan. “We’re still in the hallway.”

Knox growled softly in frustration clearly, but his lips paused, and he pulled back slightly. His dark eyes flashed crimson, before going back to gray.

“Then let’s fix that,” he said huskily.

Before I could respond, he opened the door to my room with one hand while the other remained firmly around my waist, to make sure that I stayed pressed against him. The moment we stepped inside, he kicked the door shut with his foot and locked it.
