Chapter 34. The Announcement

"Do you think that the Alpha has forgotten what we did?" Tania asked, her face forming a wistful expression as we veered towards the field.
"Forgotten?" I snorted. "Someone as great as your Alpha hardly forgets any details. I guess he found a good reason not to punish us anymore, especially you since you were the victim." I explained, smiling sheepishly when I remembered how stunned Amma was when Alpha Rolan ordered Marina to be kept in the pack cell and exonerated us.
"Why are you smiling like something really good just happened?" She said then massaged her forehead, raising her hand in resignation. "Alright, I know something good happened, but it's not enough to make you smile this way."
I wiped the smile off my face to avoid getting weird stares from passers-by.
"Amma. I'm happy that she was disappointed by the same person she expected to punish us." I screeched, clapping
