Chapter 61. Confronting Rolan

It wasn't fun to just sit around with nothing to do and no one to order around apart from Faye. It was saddening and highly annoying but the only thing I could do was to find a way to get Rolan to forgive me.
The door burst open with Faye rushing towards me, panting heavily and breathing in a ragged manner. I threw my nail varnish aside and glared at her.
"What's the problem, Faye? Have you forgotten how to knock?" I seethed as she fell on the floor, palming her hands together.
"I'm really sorry about that, mistress, but I have something very important to tell you." She replied hastily, emphatic on her need to part with the news that made her burst into my room.
Left with no choice, I snapped my fingers at her, nudging her to go ahead.
