Chapter 62. The Competition

My body ached from the endless training I engaged in last evening with Hugo. Yes, Rolan had ordered him to train with me since I was his friend, and honestly, it was draining. But I looked at the bright side, knowing that the competition would begin today and all the lessons learned would be useful along the line.
"Hurry up, Hermione, we are going to be late." Tania urged me on while I lazed in the bathroom, barely scrubbing my skin well.
Presently, there was just one thing that spurred me on, and that was becoming free again, though it was still hard for me to believe that I had to fight for my freedom when I didn't commit any crime aside from being my father's daughter.
I finished cleaning up and put on the uniform that was given to everyone engaging in the competition. It wasn't the normal uniform which was just a mere dress, this one was made up of a pair of slacks and a satin body hug blouse.
