The Thing POV

Looking down, I see on my body the marks left by what happened, they are not completely closed and should leave scars... These will be the marks so that I don't forget that I am nothing but an object even for my destined Mate.

So I just stare at the ground, waiting for the next command, saying nothing, making no sound except my breathing. Then I noticed him coming closer. His hand enters my field of vision. He touches my chin and lifts my face, I can't resist.

I met his eyes, which had always been my security. His expression is a mixture of feelings: guilt, pain, resentment, anger, hatred, and many others. All of them he can afford to feel and I don't dare to try anything else than what I've already learned.
