Chapter 8. The Proper Date

I finally got off the chair and locked my door. I was smiling so wide, I was wet and sticky and was so fucking happy.

The day went by so easily. I reached the bookstore half an hour before the store was open. Archie greeted me with his smile, he was giving me instructions for my work. It was easy, and quite simple making me sigh in relief.

"Oh, and I don't know if you like to read. But seeing that you brought your Kindle I'm assuming that to do. You can help yourself to all the used books." He was pouring me a cup of tea, it seemed that this is how he likes to start his mornings. I was taking a mental note in my mind that I should prepare his tea tomorrow.

"Yes. I love to, that's why I have my Kindle, actually. I read too many romance novels, people might think that I'm a book hoarder. With this, I'm saving on book space and money obviously. Though I missed flipping them and smelling the book pages." I grinned at him.

I've met a few locals today, Archie intr
