Chapter 14. Missing Nerd

"What do you mean he's gone? He's your tech guy...he can't be gone, he still has his session with me." I said a bit harshly at Nikolai who had just come back from God knows where.

"Easy sis, why don't you do something else first? He will let me know when he's ready to go back." Nikolai said as he grabs a beer from the fridge.

"So, tomorrow or a couple of days from now?"

"More likely weeks or months from now, maybe you can do it via email or phone. You could still reach him at a certain time. Just leave him a message and he'll get back to you."

"But...the last time he's gone he was jailed. Is he safe? Do you know where he is? You do know...don't you?"

He was nodding his head, ending our conversation right there. Then he walked away from me, clearly not wanting to reveal where Luka was hiding out.

At that moment I decided to play Nancy Drew and find my missing nerd.
