"He's your brother too?"

Karla had just arrived and was greeted by her furry buddy, Gus when he slithered his tail to her calf and purred louder asking for her attention.

"Yeah, from my dad and Luka from my mom, so..." he replied while still browsing on his laptop.

She came up to him and kissed his temple softly while caressing his short thick strands. She tried to take a peek at his laptop but he gives her the look and she shrugged, silently saying at least she tried.
