Chapter 24. Brandon

It was just after dinner, we were saying goodbyes. I've said my goodbye to Mom and Dad already, we had a long talk where they were genuinely cared for and listened to my stories. They had promised to visit me on campus next month, and I left them with a warm hug.

But I was still in the parking area where David insisted that I ride back with him, but I was not feeling it. I told him that I was driving my car to my parents, then he told me that his driver could drive back my car but I was stubbornly refusing his offer.

And being David, he didn't push through. But his eyes wandered to mine, silently searching for answers.

"David baby let the woman have her freedom. If she wants to drive then let her." Jason was caressing my knuckles, we were parting until I didn't know when I'd meet him again.

"I'm so going to miss you so much, Jason." I looked up at him and smile.

"Me too kitten, one whole weekend is not enough to quench my thirst for you." He
