Chapter 26. Brandon

"Hey, I'm good. It's still early in the morning... are you okay?" I asked worried that something might've happened to him.

The outside was still dark when my phone buzzed with Ethan on the other line. I was instantly alert since we usually converse at normal human hours and six a.m. was not normal to our standards.

I got out of bed, leaving Brandon who was still sleeping. I didn't want to wake him up, knowing we stayed up quite late last night.

Walking out of the bedroom I decided to make a fresh batch of coffee while trying to find out what was happening to Ethan. He was still babbling about his weekend, but I've known him for years and I know when he was hiding something.

"I missed you guys..."

There you go...

"Ethan I've missed you too, but I thought Andrew had come to see you?"

I love him dearly, but he needs to mingle. Andrew told me that Ethan has been busy with his study and that he was lonely because of that.
