Chapter 27. Benjamin

Jasper's POV

"Was he telling the truth?" his voice was sexily throaty, it was still dawn. I've just gotten Tara back to sleep after feeding her a bottle of milk.

Last night Ben didn't talk about it, my knuckles were still sore after hitting his bastard ex. I didn't like the way he grabbed Ben, then there was the condescending homophobic stare that his fiancée gave us. I don't understand why the hell didn't Ben shoo those two people away?

"Hmm? truth about what?" I know what he's going to ask, I just didn't want my answer to scare him away. I didn't want to lose him, not when I just had him in my arms.

"Elroy accusing you of murdering someone?" my beautiful Ben rest to his side, propped his head on his tucked arm between the pillow waiting for my answer.

I kissed his forehead and nodded. "It's true."

He looked at me, caressed my jaw with his other hand, and popped the question, "Would you ever going to tell me about it?"
