"So, I just got a phone call from Dave. Apparently, now that your mother is deceased and your father is in jail you had the access to your house. If you would like to take your personal stuff? If not then just let the house as-is. It's still under your father's name...." He told me as we were finishing off our breakfast. He was pouring our coffee and sitting closer to me, while Milo was lounging on the floor under us.

"I...I think I might just take the rest of my clothes and shoes."
