Chapter 29. When He's That Good
"Hey, we're good...we'll be there in...hey, I think that's the front office..." he parked his car and went to my side. I was not liking the eerie surroundings of the mountainous area. But he draped his arm around my shoulder and made me relax instantly.
"Come, baby, let's get you inside...you're good my love." He kissed my forehead and ushered me inside the front office.
"Walt...maybe we should get back to the city, I'm not sure I can spend the night here..." I was grabbing his hand as I saw a little girl...dress in white, facing into the darkness of the woods.
Then seconds later, my eyes were taking my sight to the corner of the woods, to one of the tall trees. There I saw a woman dressed in white, with pale skin and long dirty sandy almost copper hair. Her hands were hugging the swing as her body curved oddly as she sits on the swin
