Author's POV 

This place was rather confined, even dark, and there was no sign of any window in the room. The only door available was the one through which they had come in and she understood that it was locked.

She glanced at Austin who continued to hold on her tightly. She realized she had to find a way out of the cage but at the moment she just hugged him and tried to somehow console him.

While they were sitting, Mrs. Beth got aware of the presence of someone moving outside the room. It moved and the master entered the room.

“Ah, If you allow the violation of your personal space, I see you are indeed settling well.” He remarked, already choosing the tone of sarcasm. The man then turned to Mrs. Beth and said, 

“Don’t think I don’t know what you’re up to, Mrs. Beth, you are here to look after the boy beware of the joke you are likely to pull off.”
