Chapter 225

Felicity's POV 

As soon as we thought we had saved Austin, a figure emerged from the shadows. Isklander, who was Bianca's partner, appeared out of nowhere with a nasty look fixed on us.

 “I don’t think so,” he said, sneering and withdrawing a gun, pointing it in our direction. We froze in awe and fear. It was at that moment that Bianca took advantage of our distraction to grab hold of Austin and disappear. 

“No!” I shouted as I tried to follow her but Isklander blocked my way.

 “Sorry Felicity,” he mocked me. “But Austin will now be our leverage.” And then he turned around and followed Bianca disappearing into the night with my son. I remained there feeling helpless as well as defeated. How did such a thing occur? Austin’s rescue was so close. Joseph wrapped his arms around me tightly. 

“We’ll get him back Felicity,” he whispered.
