My world felt as if it was crashing down all around me. Isklander’s words knifed through my heart, and I found it hard to believe what he was telling me. Throughout my life, Uncle Baron and Aunt Clarissa were family to me- they just acted pretending that they were protecting me?

I recollected every memory we shared; moments of joy, sorrow - our lives intertwined. Were they all lies?
