“So you’re expecting a child again? And with whom this time?” Scarlet inquired as her gaze darted between the couple.

She had had enough! Aubrey’s patience ran out all at once, and she attacked Scarlet by kicking her. She cursed at the woman. “How dare you, you fucking bitch!”

Scarlet was irritated when Aubrey kicked her and then did the same to her. “Don’t blame yourself for losing him; it’s your fault, Aubrey!” She was so enraged that she grabbed Aubrey’s hair and tried to push her, but Collin was there to catch her before she fell. That enraged her even more!

“ENOUGH! What are you two doing?” Collin yelled as he stopped both women from hurting each other. It wasn’t the first time he’d seen something like that, but it was the first time he’d seen Aubrey become enraged. “You owe an apology to Scarlet for kicking her,” he told Aubrey.
