Chapter 32
“Why didn’t you speak up before!?” Eliot said, complaining to his friend “I thought I had been betrayed!“
Rolling his eyes, Ziad turned a deaf ear to his friend's drama. The two were currently in a separate room, and joining them were Eliot's older brother, Jasper, along with the king and queen.
Ziad and the others had arrived a few hours earlier, and even though Eliot insisted that they could talk to his parents another time, he still made a point of meeting them as soon as possible. Then, he told everything he had experienced in the last few months, from the moment he saved Aart to the fact that the two of them adopted Lorak and how they knew where and how they saved all those people from the sorcerers.
“Eliot dear, please behave,” the queen lightly scolded her son before turning to Ziad .“I'm glad that you managed to save the half-elf by calling Aart, and that you are now companions. He seems like a good person.”
