Chapter 14. Deal or No Deal?

Almost everyone spilled their drinks when Chloe relayed what happened inside the CEO’s—rather her husband’s office a while ago.

Chloe, on the other hand, was trying to keep her head cool about this. She wanted to meet her friends to get proper, and not biased advice from them, but it seemed she was regretting it now.

They were entitled to their own opinion, but the thing was, they were all in favor of her husband.

“Girl, are you out of your freaking mind? It’s Tyler Schneider that wants you, what’s there to think? Duh!” Danny, their gay friend, didn’t hesitate to express his disappointment in her.

“Exactly my point, dear. Who would be in their right mind to divorce a sizzling…invigorating…mouthwatering…super-duper wealthy husband?” Trixie used her unique seductive voice trying to convince her not to file a divorce.

But Chloe raised her hand in disagreement, “Err, that would probably be me?”

Danny and Trixie facepalmed hearing her blunt answer.
