Chapter 25. Soft Side

Chloe was stamping off her feet when they arrived at the penthouse. She had been ignoring him and his bickering from the car up to now. She even almost slammed the door on his face.

She went straight to her bedroom, and he barged in as if it was his, “Wife, I’m talking to you!” frustrated and mad, he raised his voice.

“Get out of here! Don’t you have a bedroom?” she sarcastically asked.

“I said, why do you always go against me? I asked you, why do you need to yell at me in front of those people? I am a CEO, a billionaire. I am Tyler Schneider,” he continued with his nagging.

Chloe mimicked everything he said while making a face and mouthing her lips.

“Are you being real right now?” Tyler noticed.

“Are you being real right now?” she mocked him again. “And let me tell you this, whoever you are, I am your fucking wife! Your wife! Not your employee, not your robot, not a puppet who will follow you around and do everything you want!”
