Chapter 40. Bitch Is Back

“Chloe, what’s wrong? You can talk to me. What happened?” the Chairman was trying to comfort her but to no avail.

So the Chairman asked Hawkins instead. Despite his hesitation, whether to protect his friend or not, he did what he thought was right, and that was to show the messages which Chloe received.
