Chapter 39. Most Unwelcome Person

Chloe was in her office preparing her opening speech for the first-ever project she would be presenting. It was a special day for Chloe because once the investors agreed to it she would be the new head project manager of this one.

Considering the short time of rendering in the company, it would be a very big promotion for her. She kept on repeating her spiel inside her head and she was so confident with all the data she worked on.

“May the odds be ever in my favor,” she said herself.

She received a sweet message from her husband with a sweet emotion which he didn’t like doing. Despite Tyler’s changes these past few weeks, he remained a gentleman to Chloe.

And just like this event, Chloe couldn’t wait to celebrate this project’s success with him.
