Chapter 41. A Woman’s Cry
One slap on each cheek awakened Tyler for what he did wrong. Seeing the woman in front of him crying, he knew he did something terrible.
“Since when?” she shouted.
“Since when are you cheating on me?” she cried her heart out. The composure that she tried to hold on to when at the hospital now burst and exploded.
Her real emotion finally emerged wanting to get out. The wall and everything inside their penthouse witnessed how a kind woman like her cried like there was no tomorrow.
She kept on hurting and hitting and pounding her husband’s chest, “Why? How could you?” she cried aloud.
An endless question was left unanswered, not because he didn’t want to, but because he didn’t know the right answer to that.
Tyler was just standing, not doing anything. He was just letting her let out her pain and struggle by hurting him.
He couldn’t even bring himself to say the words, I am sorry, because to him, he knew nothing would suffice her anger and pain
