Chapter 60. Face-Off
“How’s your head, sir?” he sarcastically greeted Tyler as soon as he walked into his office messaging his head.
“What do you think? You left me drinking alone yesterday night,” he rudely threw a response.
“Well, apologies, unlike a CEO like you, I can’t be late for work, can I?” he smirked as his boss slashed his best friend.
“Whatever you say. Our agenda for today?” he exclaimed grunting while resting his back on the executive chair.
“I’ve cleared your whole schedule for today so—”
Tyler got excited with the announcement so he stood out from his seat and stretched both his arms in the air, “Okay, that means I am free to leave. Just call me if something comes—” but his celebration was soon cut by his secretary.
“Clearly, I am not yet done with my statement, sir,” there again with his emphasis, “I cleared it because the Chairman calls for you today, and you must be there at all costs,” he continued.
The smile on Tyler’s face disappeared
