Chapter 106

Ethan insisted that they have a couple of drinks to celebrate their honeymoon and the contract signing. Xavier tried to explain to him that he did not want to drink because he was driving.

Ethan got a driver to take them home and only released them to go when they were all very drunk.

“You are drunk,” Jessica said, pushing Xavier aside as he fiddled with the key. “This is something easy. How can you not know how to do it?” she said in between hiccups.

“I can do it,” Xavier slurred as he blinked.

He slapped himself across the face to keep himself awake. “Stop that, it hurts,” Jessica said, grabbing his hand as she threw the key across the lawn.

“Stop it?” Xavier hiccuped and swayed back and forth. “The door,” he pointed at the door as a giggle left his mouth.

“Oh,” she
