Peter fought against the guards, but they were too strong. He couldn’t break free. After the incident, he was sentenced to fifteen days in detention for attacking Stacey inside the prison.

What Peter didn’t expect was for Stacey to completely lose her mind. A psychiatric evaluation confirmed it. Peter, though not insane, looked like a broken man. His behavior was like that of someone who had lost everything.

“What have I done?” he whispered.

He fell to his knees. His hands slapped his own face over and over as the sharp sounds filled the air. His skin turned red, but he didn’t stop.
