Chapter 16

A loud groan was heard from behind Gaetano before the guy that was holding a gun on his head collapsed on the floor. Allowing him to grab his gun so fast, he shot his partner straight in the skull freeing Gianni. 

Vicente Broccoli was now under Di Martino’s mercy. “How are the Broccoli brothers?” Gianni asked as Gaetano moved forward, pulling Larissa out of his hands. 

He carried her bridal style in his arms and started walking away, but the next words stopped him from going any further. “The Broccolis are not sitting Gaetano. We will be back.” He just shook his head and stared down at Larissa. Her hair was tickling his finger, and her arms were limply at her sides.

No one was going to hurt his treasure. He was going to protect her with his life, and no one was going to touch her again.

“Gianni, you know what to do,” he said and started walking away with her still in his arms. 

Seeing the fear in her eyes, something in his heart clicked.
