Chapter 32

Her heart beat faster in her chest, and her hand moved over to her stomach, was she pregnant? Is that what he meant? She unbuttoned the lower buttons of Gaetano’s shirt and removed it. Her hands held it tightly as she pulled it to her nose and then sniffed softly.

A smile found its way on her lips. She placed it on the sink and started to clean up herself.

The car was parked 10 meters away from their destination. Gaetano stared at Gianni as four other cars parked behind him. Aveline continued loading the guns fully that were placed in a big bag that lay on the car carpet in between her legs. 

Gaetano and Gianni opened their car doors to their side and stepped out. Marco did the same, and so did Aveline as she pulled the bag out and closed the door, then walked over to the side where her bosses were leaning on the car. 

Everyone followed, getting out of their cars, led by Andrea.
