Chapter 63

He stood up and walked back home. He would give the rose stem to the gardener to replant. He passed Antonio's house and there was no one in front of it this time. He walked silently down the road and soon he was in front of his gate. The guards opened the gate and found the gardener tending to a dying plant. He was trying to decide on what plant to use to replace it. Damian walked up to him and he was startled terribly.

"Here. Plant this."

The gardener took the flower stem and nodded. Damian walked inside. He found Sean setting up breakfast. The maids were busy cleaning. They greeted him but as usual, he ignored them. He walked up to his room and found Lilian in his bed watching 'The Alphas'.

"You're back."

"And you're awake."

He took off his sweatshirt and headed into the shower for a warm bath. Lilian was feeling much better and she had taken her bath. She was dressed in some shorts and a shirt.
