“Is that Uncle Esposito?” Adam asked, indulging in the story.
Mrs. Diaz nodded and continued, “Back then, he was addicted to gambling and had no proper work though he was a young master of Esposito. We didn’t want to see how our daughter’s life was ruined in front of our eyes. We opposed their relationship and restricted her from meeting him.”
Mrs. Diaz sighed deeply. Adam rubbed and circled Mrs. Diaz’s back in a comforting way so that she would not break down.
