I felt disgusted as Martha grabbed my hands. Looking up at me with joy.

And the worst part was that she called herself my mother-in-law.

Yes, I would have gladly agreed to that statement a year ago, that was if Rachel was my wife, but now, even if Rachel and I end up together, which I hoped, I would never give her that respect.

I shook her hands off me, glaring at her in disgust.

"Get your hands off me," I said, and the older-looking woman almost did a double take.

"What are you saying? You're here to make sure Lana gets the justice she deserves right? To make sure Rachel spends the rest of her life in jail?"

No, the only person who deserved to go to jail right now was Lana, and she was dead!

I took a step back from her staring at her coldly while resisting the urge to just shut her up.

Just one punch from me, and she would be out on the floor; that was a bet.

"No... " How can you do this to Lana!" She screamed.
