"What happened?" He asked me again after taking me up to my room.

What was I to say?

That my mother was a scheming bitch just like her daughter? Or that my family no longer wanted anything to do with me apart from what I could offer to them?

After hearing everything my mother had to say saying what I could back at her, I left the place. Tears fell down my eyes as I thought of everything.
