The first thing Ayleen noticed was the vast expanse before her. The sky stretched wide, painted with the soft hues of dusk. The land was open, under construction. Workers moved in the distance, steel beams rose from the ground, and the faint hum of machinery echoed. The scent of fresh soil and paint lingered in the air.
“Murat…” She turned to him, her brows furrowed. “Why are we here?”
Murat didn’t look at her immediately. His gaze remained fixed on the land, his expression unreadable.
“This,” he finally said, voice low and filled with meaning, “is a dream.”
Ayleen took a step forward, scanning the vast space. “A dream?”
“Yes.” He finally turned to her, his eyes gleaming under the fading sun. “Your dream.”
