“You’re welcome,” He said again and all Christian did was nod.
“Thank you” I said with a smile.
Then, the ovation died down.
“So,” he continued.
“We were talking about the basis of partnership and how we can get to reach our audience at the local stage…”
The pains hit me again, severally.
Oh, God! When will this ever stop?
There was bottled water on the table in front of me and I opened it and gulped down a little quantity.
Christian itched his head and looked down at the table.
He obviously didn’t want to be there, at the meeting.
I leaned my back on my seat and tried listening to what the man was saying. But unfortunately, the pains wouldn’t let me concentrate as it kept nagging at me.
Gosh! It was so painful.
After a while, the man stopped talking and returned to his seat, giving room for others to speak.
