Georgina's POV

"Where are we?"

"My mansion. I couldn't take you back to the palace". "Georgina!" He called out and held my hand. "I'm sorry about what happened. I should have come earlier to take you out of there. I apologized for what happened. I promise you that I will find out what really happened. I know you didn't pick the jewelry". I looked at him and smiled. Coming for me was enough to forgive him.

"And I apologize for the inconvenience I might have caused you". I replied. He hugged me immediately. I hesitated in reciprocating his hug. It was because of him that Ashina framed me for what I didn't do. I know I have feelings for him but should I keep pushing on or stop.

He pulled out of the hug and looked at me.

That was when I took a proper look at him and realized he was completely dressed up. "Are you going out?" I asked.

"Yeah. Need to attend to something important". All the while, he kept staring directly into my face.
