Chapter 71

Georgina's POV

I had to block my phone from receiving unsolicited calls and messages after I started receiving calls and threatening messages from unknown numbers supposed to be Ashina. The last message I received was that I would be assassinated for snatching a married man from his wife, and my head would be severed from my body.

Whoever it is that sent the message also sent a photoshopped picture of me in my favorite yellow gown being slain with my head lying beside my body.

I couldn't take it any longer that I had to report to Christian and the police. Since Ashina is the principal suspect after prior investigations, both of us were invited to visit the headquarters of the cops at Kenn Avenue by 8 AM. Today is that day and I had woken up early to prepare myself, same with Christian who has only a few days to his leave. It's going to be the first time I'll set eyes on my rival after she leaves the palace.
