Conri's POV

"Remember the terms of the contract or you think we've not yet started?"

"No, I don't think so!" She replies coldly. "I want to know things that bother me."

"This one is not as significant as you think, to know beforehand. We're going to a safer place, where we'll not encounter any attack."

"Hmmm!" She shrugs her shoulders. "No issue then."

I look out of the window once again, it's the only thing I can do when I have no one to talk to, the one on my side refuses to talk to me, I don't bother, it's due to what happened to her. I imagine how life will go when we return to live at my official residence as Alpha and Riek get to live with her worst enemy, Chloe. Strategic measures would be carved out by me to make sure these two don't come across each other as much as possible. I want Riek to be safe, if anything happens to her, then I'm done for.
