Chapter 56

Riek's POV

After all, you gotta marry someone your heart wants and who truly loves you. I think the same rule is gonna apply here.

The door of the living room is open, I sightRalph and Daciana inside with a girl who seems to be Bardulf's sister but I sense his mother tells her to give them some privacy, she stands and exits through the inner door. Coming close to the door, I pause, heave heavily. The pressure swells me up.

Bardulf pulls me gently inside to prevent it from seeming obvious. He shoots me a warning glare. I've told you not to lose your confidence. I immediately put up my self-confidence and walked in with him.
